TOPIC: LETTING GO!

Napaisip lang ako sa church while taking down some notes. Minsan may mga bagay na nangyayari lang, kaya maganda nga siguro kung paminsan minsan ay i-review natin yung events sating buhay. At one point, the pastor gave out a one liner and said, "watch your life diligently." Sabi sa service, know yourself, watch your life, find humour and humility through everything. Baka totoo nga yun para makita din natin what we have, what we should be thankful for, and also how whatever we lost before can open doors for bigger and better blessings later on.

I also learned that God didn't live to teach us how to want more... His life was about the challenge of letting go. They say, let go of something first, go down first, and you'll earn the kind of faith that'll allow you new beginnings and the freedom to grow.

Favorite Movie of the Moment

Just Watched my Disc on "Garden State" Natalie Portman and Zach Braf, It's my New Favorite at the moment just because of the Soundtrack. Couldn't find the Soundtrack locally though, Wish sana lang meron sa 'Pinas.  I love Simon and Garfunkel at the moment.

I Saw the Sun.

I saw the sun and it opened my eyes! I saw the sun!

I Saw the Sun

I recently watched the movie "Sunshine" and it was great.  I specially liked the soundtrack.

Makes me feel really human!  Suddenly my mortality was so real.  Incidentally, the NASA recently released pictures of our sun taken by the two sattelites which they launched.  It's the first pictures in 3 dimensions of our Sun. Check it out.

Guys! You may be wondering about the new photos I posted here.  I give credit to KC Concepcion's site for the images.  Just had to share these with you.  Can you believe these are all actually graffiti in an old building in Paris!  The building is known as "les Frigos", per KC's blog, it used to be a storage for meat and other food products.

Wish we had this kind of creativity here in Manila.

More on the Shining One

Some people are just too shiny, they overwhelm you with inspiration!.  I recently bougnt the Metro Mag on KC Concepcion.  I can't believe it! How time flies! She's graduating!  Times like these I begin to really feel my age.  But never mind that.  Her impending cross over to a new phase in her life is again inspiring me.  Making me wanna go back to school and learn more!  Learn anything! They say, if you stop learning new things everyday, then your life stops.  Then you've got no life.  She's inspired me to save up some money maybe to learn a new language, to drive a car!, to study music or art.  I wanna learn everything sometimes I feel like I won't have enough time to do it all at once!

Here's to hoping I finish at least one...;-D

I recently re-read  Richard Bach's "Bridge Across Forever",  He set an idea about human existence, He said that all of us were created to learn about LOVE in this lifetime. A million lifetimes in learning and relearning Love.  Made me think how infinitely giving our God is.  Imagine a chance to Learn and Re-learn love in whole lifetimes until we get it right.

ON FINDING LOVE, LOSING IT, AND MOVING ON.

Having someone who loves you is a special gift.  I've learned to honor it's coming and it's going.  Never taking it for granted.  To say what you mean and mean what you say.  I've learned that one should never regret losing someone who loves you, rather be happy in gaining a friend.  For Love is always kind.  Remembering that the physical fades, but what is shared between friends lasts forever.  Always.  Even lovers growing old become friends later on in life. So treasure love when you have it but let it go when it wants to be free.  Always end with a friend.  If you love someone, you always think of their future and what is good for them.  You do not think of yourself rather you sacrifice for their happiness.

I've learned that Love is never easy.  However, it is okay to grieve for it, one is only human. So you cry, and you cry and you cry, till there are no more tears to shed.  You cry for nine or more years then you learn from it and move on. Wallowing never helps.  Being bitter is not an option.  For Love is never selfish.  You always have the choice to be happy.  So when you catch yourself in a wallow - make an effort to snap out of it.  Love always begets Love.  So give away all the love in your heart and spread it around for others who may need it more.  Giving Love always helps.  I guarantee - this lifts ones spirit.  You find love all around you if you are open to it. 

I've also learned to never lose hope.  Hope springs eternal and Love is always patient.  So keep living and loving in your life. If someone stops loving you that does not mean your heart stops loving. Because Love manifests in so many different levels. A relationship never ends.  It just develops into some other form of love.  Love never ends.  It evolves, if you know what it truly means.
